For more than sixty years, the student art exhibition at East Los Angeles College has showcased exceptional artworks produced on campus throughout the academic year. This year, the exhibition expanded to invite students from all nine campuses of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) including East Los Angeles College, Los Angeles City College, Los Angeles Harbor College, Los Angeles Mission College, Los Angeles Pierce College, Los Angeles Southwest College, Los Angeles Trade–Technical College, Los Angeles Valley College, and West Los Angeles College.

New Voices: The 2022 District Wide Juried Student Art Exhibition proudly showcases art, design, and digital media created in LACCD courses since the Fall 2019 semester. Works on view demonstrate student artistic achievement and engagement with diverse subject matter spanning personal and collective narratives, local geographies, pop aesthetics, and social justice issues.

The exhibition is curated by Gloria Ortega, is juried by a committee of arts professionals: June Edmonds, Jennifer Frias, and Hamza Walker and is organized by the Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College with support from the LACCD Student Exhibition Advisory.
